Crime Scene Set Up on North Street
This morning (23rd February), fresh police tape went up at the bottom of North Street, Brighton, right outside the NatWest bank. Officers and Scenes of Crime Officers (SOCOs) were spotted gathering crucial evidence within the cordoned area.
Man Hospitalised After Assault
Sussex Police revealed the drama unfolded at 3.15am when they responded to reports of an assault involving a man and a woman. On arrival, officers found a man with serious facial injuries.
He was rushed to hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening or life-changing. He remains under medical care.
Woman Arrested, Investigation Ongoing
A 32-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of assault and is currently in police custody.
The force urged anyone with information to come forward. Witnesses are asked to contact police online or call 101, quoting serial number 113 of 23/02.
