Shocking Daytime Robbery at Brighton Burger King

Police have urgently released a CCTV image as they hunt a man who threatened staff with a noxious substance before stealing cash from a Burger King till in Brighton. The brazen robbery happened just before 1pm on Thursday, 20 August, at the King’s Road branch.

Suspect Makes Off After Demanding Cash

The man forced staff to hand over an undisclosed amount of money. He then fled towards Middle Street. Fortunately, no staff or customers were harmed during the terrifying incident.

The suspect is described as white, with short brown hair, wearing black Ray-Ban sunglasses, a blue face mask, a dark blue North Face hooded jacket, light blue jeans, and white Air Max trainers.

Detective Sergeant Jack Sagar said: "We are searching for the suspect and if you see him please do not approach him. Ring 999 for police."
