Sussex Police Hunt Key Witnesses After Early Morning Stabbing
Sussex Police have launched a desperate appeal for help after a vicious stabbing on Trafalgar Street in the small hours of Monday, October 9.
The force has released images of a man and woman they believe could hold the missing pieces to this brutal puzzle.
22-Year-Old Hospitalised After Violent Attack
At around 03:50, officers rushed to the scene following reports of a bloody brawl. A 22-year-old man was discovered with serious facial injuries and was quickly taken to hospital. Thankfully, he has been discharged but is still receiving treatment.
Police Plead for Public Help
Detectives want anyone who recognises the couple in the images or witnessed the terrifying incident to come forward immediately.
“If you recognise them, witnessed the incident, or have any information that could help, please contact the police online or by calling 101,” urged a police spokesperson. “When reaching out, please quote serial 162 of 09/10 to ensure a prompt and effective response from our team.”
