A shocking Instagram video has surfaced showing a car speeding at over 120mph on a residential road just one day before it crashed head-on into a taxi in Bolton, killing three teenagers and the taxi driver.

Horrifying Instagram Footage Captures Deadly Speed

The disturbing clip, posted by one of the doomed teens, shows the inside of a Seat Leon moments before it smashed into a private hire taxi on Wigan Road in the early hours of Saturday morning. The footage has been slammed online, with a family friend branding it “stupid” and reckless.

Three Teenagers and Taxi Driver Killed

The victims from the Seat Leon, aged 18 and 19, have been named as driver Muhammad Danyaal, 19, and passengers Farhan Patel and Mohammed Jibrael Mukhtar, both 18. All three lost their lives in the crash.

Tragically, taxi driver Masrob Ali, 54, from Blackburn, also died. His daughter, Humayra Ali, defended her father’s driving, saying he was a “safe driver” and not to blame.

“It’s clear that my dad wasn’t at fault and didn’t do anything wrong,” she told Lancs Live. “My first thought was how scared my father must have been in that one split moment before his life was lost.”

Multiple Injured as Police Plead for Respect

Along with the fatalities, five others were hospitalised. A 29-year-old woman in the taxi faces potentially life-threatening injuries, while two others are seriously hurt and one has minor injuries. An 18-year-old surviving passenger from the Seat remains in hospital with minor injuries.

A local witness said, “I heard the loudest bang and saw them doing CPR. The taxi driver’s passenger, a woman, got out but two others were unconscious.”

Detective Inspector Andrew Page urged witnesses to come forward but warned people to stop sharing crash footage online. “Sharing such footage could constitute a criminal offence,” he said, highlighting the need to respect grieving families.

Ongoing Investigation as Bolton Grieves

Chief Inspector Helen McCormick called the collision “a devastating tragedy.” Police continue probing the cause and are asking anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage to assist the investigation.

This terrible Bolton crash has shocked the community, highlighting the deadly risk of reckless speeding on residential streets.
