Detectives in Liverpool are appealing to the public after a 16-year-old girl was raped in the city centre. The shocking attack happened around 1:50am on Friday, April 12, in St John’s Gardens.

Officers responded swiftly to the scene, finding the teenage victim who had been assaulted by an unknown attacker. Now, cops have released CCTV images of a man they believe holds vital information about the incident.
Detective Inspector Carla Cross urged, “We would encourage the man, or anyone who recognizes him, to contact us urgently.” She stressed that public help is crucial as the investigation continues.
