Police Car Crashes Into Chinese Restaurant in Leigh-on-Sea
A police response car on blue lights smashed into a Chinese takeaway in Leigh-on-Sea tonight after colliding with another vehicle. The dramatic crash left the front of Fortune Garden restaurant badly damaged.
Officers and Public Treated at the Scene
Paramedics rushed to treat the injured officers and members of the public caught up in the collision on London Road. Witnesses said the officers were lucky to escape serious injury.
