Driver Arrested on Drug and Assault Charges
The driver was searched under the Misuse of Drugs Act and cuffed on suspicion of dealing Class A drugs. He also faces charges for assaulting an emergency worker.
House Search Uncovers Crack Cocaine and Fake Banknotes
Officers then raided an address linked to the driver. Inside, they found suspected crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia, several phones, and a stash of counterfeit notes.
Second Man Also Arrested
A 22-year-old caught inside the property was arrested on suspicion of involvement in Class A drug supply. Both men – a 26-year-old from Chatham and a 22-year-old from Peckham – remain in custody as enquiries continue.
