Cyclist Suffers Cardiac Arrest in Wiltshire, Air Ambulance Rushed to Scene

A cyclist collapsed with cardiac arrest on a quiet country lane near Yatton Keynell, Wiltshire, around 3pm on Sunday. Emergency crews sprang into action on The Street, just north of Chippenham. So far, no details on the victim’s age or gender have been released.

Air Ambulance Lands in Nearby Field

Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance quickly deployed a critical care doctor alongside two ambulance crews and an ambulance officer. The bright yellow and green helicopter touched down in a field beside the Water Tower to deliver urgent life-saving treatment.

Road Closure and Life-Saving Efforts

Police closed the road in both directions as paramedics fought to stabilise the cyclist. After treatment on site, the patient was airlifted to the Royal Infirmary for urgent care. The road reopened shortly before 5pm.
