A shocking incident unfolded at The Brewery retail park in Romford as a man was stabbed in the back in broad daylight, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
The Metropolitan Police received a distressing call at 12:53 pm reporting an injured man at the car park. Witnesses at the scene described seeing a man with a knife wound to his back.
The victim, identified as a 23-year-old male, had already left the scene by the time officers arrived but was later located at a nearby hospital. His current condition remains undisclosed pending further updates from medical authorities.
In response to the incident, authorities swiftly apprehended a suspect, who is currently in police custody. Detectives investigating the case have stated that it appears to be an isolated incident, with both the victim and the suspect known to each other. At present, no other individuals are being sought in connection with the attack.
