Man Caught Groping Woman on Kingston Bus – Police Launch Hunt

On Friday 7 May at around 4.40pm, a 21-year-old woman boarded the route 418 bus in Kingston, heading to Epsom. She took a seat by the window, just behind the exit doors.

Passenger Makes Shocking Move

Shortly after, a man got on and asked to sit next to her. She agreed. But the man then brazenly placed his hand on her leg and started touching her inappropriately.

The victim stood up, demanding he stop. Another passenger quickly alerted the driver, who promptly kicked the suspect off the bus.

Police Appeal for Information

Detective Chief Inspector Michael Dougall urged the public to help. “If you recognise this man or know where he is, contact police immediately,” he said.

“Every detail counts — no information is insignificant and could help us catch him.”
