Double Tragedy in Ilford: Toddler and Baby Dead After Knife Attack
A shocking double murder investigation has been launched after two young children were fatally stabbed in Ilford on Sunday evening.
Chaos at Aldborough Road North
Police were called to a home on Aldborough Road North at around 5.30pm on 26 April. Responding officers, London Ambulance Service, and Air Ambulance crews found a one-year-old girl with fatal knife wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A three-year-old boy was rushed to hospital but sadly later died from his injuries. A 40-year-old man was also injured and taken to hospital; his condition remains unknown.
Known to Each Other, Police Say
All victims suffered knife wounds. Authorities believe everyone involved knew each other. At this stage, police say they are not hunting any other suspects.
Homicide detectives from Specialist Crime are leading the probe, which is ongoing.
