A man’s cheeky note about speeding couldn’t save him from arrest in Southampton. Police nabbed the driver for drink driving and having no insurance after pulling him over in his Ford.
Speeding Note Backfires Big Time
The driver had written a note to himself, trying to avoid suspicion over speeding. But it didn’t fool officers from the Hampshire Road Policing Unit. They stopped him and quickly found he was behind the wheel under the influence, without any insurance.
Police Have the Last Laugh
One officer even left a witty reply on the dash – a note telling the driver his car had been seized and was headed for the crusher.
“His vehicle has been seized and will be crushed,” confirmed an officer, marking the case closed.
The man is currently in custody while investigations continue. Not the best day for a cheeky driver trying to dodge the law!
