Fatal Crash Near Crockham Hill: Police Hunt Witnesses
Kent Police are urgently appealing for witnesses following a deadly collision on Main Road near Crockham Hill. The smash involved a black Mini Countryman and a black Honda motorcycle at the junction with Dairy Lane and Dennettsland Road.
Tragic Death of 29-Year-Old Motorcyclist
The crash happened shortly after 8am on Wednesday 27 June 2018. Despite quick attendance by officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service, the motorcyclist – a 29-year-old man from Caterham – was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed, police confirmed.
Police Launch Serious Collision Investigation
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit want anyone who saw either vehicle before or during the crash to come forward. Drivers with dashcam footage are especially urged to get in touch. Every detail could be crucial to the investigation.
