Chaos at Biddulph High After Chemical Spill Sends Five to Hospital
Mayhem erupted at Biddulph High School near Staffordshire just before 11am today. A hazardous chemical spill triggered a rapid emergency response. Three teenagers and two adults were rushed to Royal Stoke University Hospital for precautionary checks. A sixth person was treated at the scene and released.
Fire Crews Race to Contain Toxic Spill
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue moved swiftly to isolate the chemical and ventilate the school, clearing dangerous fumes. A fire spokesperson said:
“Two paramedic officers, an ambulance, and specialist paramedics responded. Six patients were assessed after exposure. The chemical was isolated and ventilation measures put in place.”
School Calms Parents as Police Investigate Cause
After the scare, Biddulph High reassured anxious parents via Facebook that all emergency procedures were followed to the letter. Staffordshire Police remain on the scene probing the origin of the spill as safety checks continue.
