French Bulldog Pup Stolen in Bakersfield Burglary Reunited with Owner

A French bulldog puppy snatched during a burglary in Bakersfield has been safely returned to its owner. The pooch was stolen between 3pm and 5pm on 31 August 2020.

Puppy Found and Handed to Dog Warden

The stolen pup surfaced on Wednesday when it was handed over to a dog warden. Detective Constable Colin Kirkup of Nottinghamshire Police said, “The owner was over the moon to hear the puppy had been found and I’m absolutely delighted she has been returned safe and sound.”

Investigation Still Ongoing – Police Need Your Help

Though the puppy is back home, the burglary inquiry continues. Police urge anyone with information to come forward, saying:

“If you have information that you think may be of use to us, no matter how big or small, please call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 617 of 31 August 2020, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

Arrest Made in Connection to Stolen Goods

A 26-year-old woman was arrested on 4 September 2020 on suspicion of handling stolen goods. She has since been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
