Tragic Stabbing on Richmond Bridge: Reece Dies, Leaving Daughter Heartbroken
Reece was a lovable, fun guy who touched everyone he met. Loved by all, he had no bad bone in his body. But heartbreak struck over the weekend when Reece was brutally murdered, leaving his daughter Misse devastated.
Stabbing at 4am on Richmond Bridge
Police were called to a fight on Richmond Bridge around 4am on Saturday, 26 November. Officers found Reece with a stab wound, believed to be caused by a broken glass shard. They performed CPR before paramedics arrived and rushed him to hospital. Sadly, Reece died later that morning despite everyone’s efforts.
His family has been informed and is receiving specialist support. A post-mortem will be carried out soon. No arrests have been made yet.
Police Plea: Help Solve Reece’s Murder
Detective Chief Inspector Katherine Goodwin said: “We believe a number of people watched the incident and some might have footage on their phones. Anyone who hasn’t spoken to us yet must come forward immediately. Our team is working tirelessly to provide Reece’s family with answers.”
Chief Superintendent Lis Chapple, lead for Richmond policing, added: “My thoughts are with Reece and his family. We will support Specialist Crime fully to find out what happened. Officers will stay at the scene and around the area to listen to local concerns or tips.”
