Hairdressers got the shock of their lives when a car smashed through the window of Angie’s unisex salon in Leytonstone. Police have dubbed it an “unscheduled appointment.”
Client Driver Causes Chaos
The driver, who turned out to be a regular customer, was “lucky” to escape with just one injury, say police. The incident unfolded shortly after 10.30pm on Thursday night, when the salon was closed.
Salon Owner Calls It “An Absolute Disaster”
Angie’s salon owner, who asked to remain anonymous, described the scene as an “absolute disaster” on discovering the smashed window. Despite the chaos, she vowed: “It’ll be business as usual once the staff clean up the mess.”
The shop front has been boarded up but will reopen soon to keep serving clients.
