Police Hunt Braided Attacker in Brutal Holloway Road Assault

Officers are on the lookout for a man who launched a vicious attack on two women in their twenties in the early hours of Sunday, 22 June. The assault, feared to be a hate crime, took place near the Moonlight Supermarket on Holloway Road.

Man Shouts Abuse Before Launching Violent Attack

At around 3:30am, the pair were standing near the junction with Madras Place when the suspect approached and began shouting abuse. The situation quickly escalated as he struck both women, leaving one to fall backwards and hit her head, causing cuts.

Both women were rushed to hospital with bruises and injuries to their faces and bodies.

Suspect Description: Braided Black Male at Large

The attacker fled the scene before police arrived and remains at large. Authorities describe him as a black male, late 20s to early 30s, approximately 5ft 7ins tall, with shoulder-length braids. He was wearing white shorts and a black top.

Police Appeal: Witnesses Needed to Nab Attacker

The incident is being treated as a hate crime following reports the women were targeted because of their sexuality. Police urge anyone with information to come forward to help catch this dangerous man.
