His Majesty’s Ambassador Lucia Wilde held a key meeting with Turkmenistan’s newly appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms Myahri Byashimova, on Friday 17 March 2023.

Ambassador Wilde emphasised the British Embassy’s priorities in Turkmenistan: tackling climate change, promoting clean energy, developing a green economy, and advancing gender rights. These form the bedrock of current Turkmen-British relations.
