Tragic Golf Club Accident Claims Life of Beloved Wife Suzanne Cherry
A grieving husband has paid a heartfelt tribute after his wife Suzanne Cherry, 62, was fatally struck by a van at Aston Wood Golf Club in Shenstone.
The horror unfolded on 11 April when Suzanne from Aldridge was rushed to hospital with serious injuries. Despite medics’ best efforts, she passed away on 15 April.
Devastated Husband’s Emotional Tribute
Her husband, who witnessed the crash, said:
“I watched in helpless horror as the life of my beautiful wife and our future together was snatched away in an instant.”
He described Suzanne as a woman with “an amazing and infectious zest for life”. He added:
“She was unselfish to the core, always encouraging others to do better and believe they could achieve more than they ever imagined.”
Suzanne leaves behind her mother, children, stepchildren, and a host of loved ones touched by her kindness and unwavering support.
Six Arrested as Police Probe Continues
West Midlands Police have arrested six people in connection with the incident. The full circumstances remain under investigation, with detectives gathering evidence.
