Teen Crushed to Death After Trespassers Start Fairground Ride in Kent
Horrific Fairground Tragedy
On Wednesday morning, emergency services rushed to Pencester Garden Fair shortly after 7:45am. A 19-year-old local man was fatally crushed when a group of trespassers broke into the fairground and ignited a ride.
Crime Scene and Recovery Underway
Kent Fire and Rescue’s Technical Rescue team joined police officers at the grim scene. Despite desperate efforts from paramedics and firefighters, the teenager could not be saved. A full crime scene lockdown is in place.
Public Warned to Stay Clear
Kent Police have been contacted for comment. Members of the public are urged to avoid the area as investigations continue.
