Mystery in Barnstaple: Woman Dies, Police Launch Murder Probe
Chaos hit Barnstaple on Saturday evening after a woman was found dead at a Gorwell Road home.
Woman Pronounced Dead at Scene
At around 5.15pm on November 4, emergency services raced to a report of a woman in cardiac arrest. Paramedics and police arrived quickly but tragically, the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Murder Investigation Underway
Police have launched a murder investigation following the death. A 32-year-old local woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently held in custody.
Ongoing Enquiries
Officers remain at the property while they continue inquiries. Efforts are also underway to contact the deceased’s next of kin.
