Blazing Fire Hits Linden Terrace in Brading
Fire crews from Ryde and the Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service raced to the rear of Linden Terrace in Brading this afternoon. They were mobilised shortly after 4pm on Sunday.
Small but Stubborn Blaze
The fire covers an area about 3 metres by 3 metres. With restricted access to the spot, firefighters faced challenges tackling the flames.
Road Closures Cause Disruption
- Mall Road is shut to let crews draw water from a hydrant in the middle of the road.
- Police have imposed strict closures at Bullys Hill and The Mall.
- Drivers are urged to follow local diversions and respect the road closures.
