Two Stabbings Rock Kilburn in the Early Hours

Detectives are hunting for witnesses after two stabbings shook Kilburn shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

First Stabbing Victim Found with Back Wound

At 1:19am on 9 April, police rushed to Kilburn High Road following reports of an attack. They found a 63-year-old man stabbed in the back. He was rushed to a central London hospital where his injuries were deemed serious but not life-threatening.

Second Attack Strikes Another Man on Kilburn High Road

Not long after, officers responded to a separate stabbing nearby. A 39-year-old man was discovered with a stab wound to his abdomen. He was also taken to hospital, with his condition reported as stable and non-life-threatening.

Police Investigate Possible Link Between the Two Attacks

Detective Sergeant Mark Johnson from North West Area CID said, “We are keeping an open mind about any possible link between the two incidents. Teams are working around the clock, reviewing CCTV, speaking to witnesses, and conducting patrols.”

“I urge anyone with dash cam footage or information, no matter how small, to come forward immediately. Your help could be crucial.”

Extra police patrols are now on the streets of Kilburn. Residents and visitors are urged to stay alert and report suspicious behaviour on 999.
