Livingston Hit-and-Run: Man Seriously Injured

Detectives in Livingston are hunting witnesses after a hit-and-run left a man fighting for his life on the night of Friday, September 22.

White Car Speeds Off After Dragging Victim

At around 10.55pm, locals spotted a white car racing out of Queens Crescent onto Houston Road. Moments later, they found a 46-year-old man badly hurt on Queens Crescent. Ambulance crews rushed him to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with serious leg injuries.

Initial inquiries reveal the victim was standing by the stationary vehicle when it suddenly sped off, dragging him along the street. The driver fled the scene, leaving the man in a critical state.

Detective Constable Watson is leading the investigation and has urged anyone in the area — especially near Livingston North train station — to come forward. He also asked drivers with dash-cam footage to check their recordings for vital clues.
