Man Arrested After Woman Found Dead in Walthamstow

Woman Found with Fatal Stab Wounds

Police rushed to a Lynmouth Road address in Walthamstow (E17) around 3am on Monday, 22 July after reports of an injured woman. Officers found a 32-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Suspect in Custody, Next of Kin Being Informed

A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He is believed to have known the victim and remains in police custody. Authorities are currently informing her next of kin.

Police Appeal for Information

Chief Superintendent Rhona Hunt, overseeing Walthamstow policing, said: “Our thoughts are with this young woman’s family following their devastating loss. Officers acted swiftly to arrest a suspect who is now in custody. We will work to uncover the full circumstances of this terrible tragedy. Officers are staying in the area to offer reassurance — please speak to them if you have any concerns.”
