Man Arrested After Tragic Timperley Death
A 50-year-old man is in custody after an elderly man died following a domestic incident on Riddings Road, Timperley, Trafford. Police rushed to the scene at around 2.30pm on Sunday after reports of a disturbance.
Victim Found Critically Injured
Emergency crews found the victim, a man in his 80s, in critical condition. He was rushed to hospital but sadly died soon after despite life-saving efforts.
Investigation Underway – Police Appeal for Witnesses
The Greater Manchester Police Major Incident Team is probing the circumstances surrounding the death. Detective Inspector Lee Shaw offered condolences, saying family liaison officers are supporting the victim’s relatives and keeping them updated.
“This appears to be an isolated incident, and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with this crime,” DI Shaw confirmed.
