Fatal Stabbing on Cambridge Road

A 36-year-old man from Plymouth has died after a brutal stabbing on Cambridge Road. Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the scene around 2:30pm on Monday following reports of the attack. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Weapon Seized, But Not a Firearm

Officers have seized a weapon believed to be used in the stabbing, confirming it was not a firearm. The investigation is now a full murder inquiry.

Police on the Hunt for Two Men

Detective Chief Inspector Steve Fleetwood, leading the probe, revealed that police are actively searching for two men linked to the incident. Their identities are known, and officers are working to track them down.

“We have cordons in place and are working diligently to bring an offender to justice for the victim’s family,” said DCI Fleetwood. He added the public should not be alarmed, as there is no wider threat, despite a heightened police presence in the coming days.
