Man Hurt in Motorcycle Smash on Woolwich Road, Greenwich

A man has been rushed to hospital after a collision involving a pedestrian and a motorcycle on Woolwich Road, Greenwich, this afternoon (October 21).

Emergency Crews Race to Scene

The crash happened near the junction with Denford Street just before 2:40 pm. Police and London Ambulance Service teams quickly arrived. Paramedics found the man injured and gave urgent care.

Man Taken to Major Trauma Centre

The victim was driven to a major trauma centre. Thankfully, authorities say his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing. A London Ambulance spokesperson confirmed:

“We were called at 2:38 pm today (October 21) about a road traffic collision at Denford Street and Woolwich Road, Greenwich. We sent an ambulance crew, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer. London’s Air Ambulance was also dispatched. Our first paramedics reached the scene in around five minutes. We treated a man and took him to a major trauma centre by road.”

Police Investigate, No Arrests Yet

Police are continuing inquiries to establish how the collision happened. No arrests have been made so far.
