Shocking Assault on 9-Year-Old Near Dagenham Shops
Police have launched a manhunt after a 9-year-old boy was violently dragged off his scooter during a shocking assault in Dagenham. The incident happened between 7.55am and 8.10am on Friday near the Roundhouse and local shops.
Suspect Description and Police Appeal
The attacker, described as a white male in his 20s, around 5ft 11in tall, was wearing a black Nike tracksuit and hat. Witnesses say he grabbed the child from behind by the waist, throwing him to the ground before fleeing the scene.
Police Call for Witnesses and Dash Cam Footage
Officers are urgently appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or who may have captured it on dash cam to come forward. Drivers passing the area during the time frame are urged to check their footage and contact police.
