Police Hunt Man Over Four Waltham Forest Sexual Assaults
Detectives have released CCTV footage of a man they want to identify after four linked sexual assaults rocked Waltham Forest in just a few hours.
Attacks Hit Multiple Locations on 20 October
- Incidents took place between 7:25am and midday on Tuesday 20 October
- One woman attacked near Hall Lane, E4
- A teenage girl assaulted at a bus stop on Leonard Road, E4
- Two women, each with young children, targeted separately in Lee Valley Park and Walthamstow Marshes
- The children were unharmed
Suspect Described as Black Male, 30-35, Short Hair
The Met’s North East BCU safeguarding team leads the investigation. They’re urging anyone who recognises the man in the footage to come forward.
“Incidents of this nature are disturbing and traumatic. They are thankfully rare, but women in Waltham Forest should remain alert,” said Detective Constable Tim Hudson.
“Please contact us if you know this man. We’re treating these as linked assaults and are providing specialist support to victims.”
