Tragic Rider Dies After Horror Crash in Walsall
A man has died following a serious motorbike crash on Thorncroft Way, Walsall, today.
Paramedics and Air Ambulance Rush to Scene
West Midlands Ambulance Service received a call just after 1:40pm reporting the rider had come off his bike. Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham were scrambled immediately.
Off-Duty Firefighter’s Heroic CPR Attempt
On arrival, crews found the man in cardiac arrest. A quick-thinking off-duty firefighter was already performing CPR.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: “Ambulance staff took over and also administered advanced life support. However, unfortunately it became apparent that nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed dead at the scene.”
