Met Police Take Over Probe After Man Found Stabbed in Essex

Man Found Stabbed on Epping New Road

The Met Police have stepped in to lead the investigation after a man was found with fatal stab wounds in Essex. The victim, locally named as Steve’O Morrison, was discovered on Epping New Road in Epping just before 8pm on Monday, 23 June.

Victim Dies in Hospital

Steve’O was rushed to hospital but sadly died from his injuries. His next of kin have been informed, though formal identification is still pending. It’s believed the attack happened within the Metropolitan Police’s jurisdiction.

Detectives Open to All Motives

Specialist Crime detectives are probing the case and keeping all angles open regarding the motive behind the stabbing. A post-mortem examination will be arranged soon to determine the cause of death.
