Officers in Thanet made a shocking discovery after responding to a reported burglary in Ramsgate.

Burglary Call Leads to Massive Drug Bust

Kent Police were called to Albion Road at 10.50pm on Tuesday, 26 April 2022, after reports of people trying to break into a home.

When officers arrived, they found damaged wiring and something far more serious than a simple break-in. Six rooms inside the property had been converted into a huge cannabis cultivation operation.

760 Cannabis Plants Seized

Police seized an estimated 760 cannabis plants and dismantled the entire grow setup. The scale of the operation stunned officers on the scene.

No arrests have been made yet, and investigations are ongoing as police hunt those responsible.
