Tragic Crash on Isle of Wight Claims Biker’s Life
Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal smash on the Isle of Wight last night.
Deadly Collision on Corf Road
Just before 5.50pm on 21 June, officers rushed to Corf Road in Shalfleet where a Volkswagen Beetle and a motorcycle collided. Despite paramedics’ desperate efforts, the 30-year-old biker from Cowes died at the scene.
Driver Unhurt, Investigation Underway
The Beetle’s 62-year-old driver was unharmed. Roads Policing officers are piecing together how the crash happened.
Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up
Sergeant Mark Thornley said: “We want to hear from anyone who saw the collision or spotted the dark blue Beetle or motorbike in the area before the smash. Any information could be crucial.”
