Man Stabbed to Death in Chilling North Houses Lane Attack
Emergency crews rushed to North Houses Lane at 4.55pm yesterday after a man in his 50s was found with multiple stab wounds. Despite frantic efforts, paramedics could not save him and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Woman Arrested on Murder Suspicion
A 55-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody as police continue their investigation. The victim has yet to be formally identified.
Police Hunt Witnesses and CCTV Footage
A crime scene is still in place today, with a visible police presence expected in the area for several days. Detectives urge anyone with information or dashcam footage from North Houses Lane to come forward immediately.
Detective Chief Superintendent Ian Whitehead said: “My thoughts are with the victim’s family at this incredibly difficult time. While an arrest has been made, we’re still at the start of this investigation and need to find out exactly what happened.
