Mum Murder Shock: Woman Found Dead in Blackpool
Lancashire Police have launched a murder probe after Alison Dodds, a woman in her 50s, was found dead in Blackpool’s Redcar Road area. Officers arrived on Thursday, September 21st at 10:56am following reports of an unexpected death.
Multiple Injuries Spark Murder Investigation
At the scene, Alison’s lifeless body was discovered. A post-mortem revealed she sustained multiple injuries, prompting police to treat the death as suspicious.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Jane Webb of Lancashire’s Major Investigation Team expressed her condolences to Alison’s family, saying:
“We’d ask that anyone who may have information that could be useful to the investigation, please contact us as soon as possible.”
She confirmed officers have boosted patrols in the area to reassure locals.
