Man Stabbed to Death in Shocking Croydon Attack
The Met Police launched a murder probe tonight after a man was fatally stabbed on Alpha Road, Croydon. Two other people were also injured in the brutal attack.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Despite frantic efforts by paramedics and officers, the victim died at the scene. Neighbours described seeing cops sprint from their vehicles with first aid kits and a defibrillator, desperately trying to save him.
Street Sealed Off as Investigation Heats Up
The area is now sealed off, with a large crime scene in place. Armed officers from the Met’s Territorial Support Group (TSG) are guarding the top of the road.
Emotional scenes unfolded as relatives of one of those involved broke down at the scene.
