Brutal Early Morning Attack in Nottingham City Centre!
Between 4 a.m. and 4.30 a.m. on June 4, 2022, a 25-year-old woman was violently punched in the face in Old Market Square, Nottingham. The vicious blow not only left her with painful facial bruises but also smashed her glasses.
Friends Also Targeted
The victim’s friends were caught up in the assault too. Thankfully, they escaped with only minor injuries, but the attack clearly shook everyone involved.
Police Seek Crucial Witness
Officers have released an image of a woman they believe can shed light on what really happened. PC Phoebe Lau said, “This was an upsetting incident for the victim, who was left with bruises to her face.”
After scouring CCTV from local shops and venues, Nottinghamshire Police urge anyone who recognises the woman pictured to come forward. “Our investigations are ongoing,” added PC Lau. “If you know who this person is, please get in touch.”
