Terrier Bites Schoolboy Then Owner Just Walks Off – Police Want to Talk!
At around 8am on Friday 6 November 2020, a 12-year-old boy was waiting to cross Montgomery Avenue near the old swimming pool site with a friend. Suddenly, a man walking his terrier-type dog behind them stopped the boy in his tracks.
Dog Attacks Young Boy Without Warning
The dog barked aggressively before sinking its teeth into the back of the boy’s leg, leaving him bruised and shaken. Shockingly, the dog’s owner said nothing and simply carried on walking.
Police Seek Elderly Man Who Left Victim Hurt
The suspect is described as a white man in his 60s. Dorset Police’s PC Jennie Sykes-Martin said:
“While the man’s face isn’t clearly visible in the image we’ve obtained, we’re hoping someone may recognise him by his clothing or the dog he was walking. I urge anyone who knows who he is to come forward.”
