Drugs bust in Salisbury! A vehicle stopped on Ashley Road at 2.45am today (23/02) led police to uncover a stash of suspected Class A and B drugs hidden in a bag on the back seat.

Three Salisbury locals have been arrested: two men, aged 33 and 23, and a 21-year-old woman. All are suspected of involvement in the supply of these illegal substances and are now in police custody.

The driver also failed a drug test, resulting in extra charges for drug driving and driving without insurance.

The police search at the crack of dawn revealed a significant quantity of drugs, prompting swift arrests.

Detective Sergeant Ted Roe said: “We will not hesitate to take robust action against those we suspect of dealing in drugs. Dealing can bring untold misery and damage to our communities.
