More than 200 cannabis plants in all stages of growth have been uncovered in a huge drug factory at a derelict pub in Bath Road. Police were called around 10.15pm on March 14 after a suspected burglary at the Unicorn pub led to the shocking discovery.

Electricity Board Shuts Down Illegal Grow Operation

The following day, the electricity board arrived to make the site safe for officers to enter. The entire cannabis factory has now been dismantled, but the investigation is far from over.

No Arrests Yet as Police Hunt Suspects

No arrests have been made so far, but police say extensive enquiries are ongoing. They’re urging anyone who spotted people or vehicles entering the abandoned pub in recent weeks to come forward.

“Organised crime groups often target derelict commercial properties,” officers warned. “If you see any suspicious activity at these sites, report it immediately so we can investigate.”
