Tragic Crash Kills Essex Biker in North Yorkshire
A 69-year-old man from Essex has died after a horror smash with a car in North Yorkshire.
Fatal Collision Between Motorcycle and Suzuki Swift
The crash happened at 4.45pm on Saturday, 28 August 2021. It involved a blue Kawasaki motorcycle and a blue Suzuki Swift.
The biker was pronounced dead at the scene. The Swift’s 24-year-old driver escaped injury but was arrested. He has since been released under investigation as police continue their enquiries.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers are urging anyone who saw the crash or was driving between Amotherby and the nearby town between 4.45pm and 5.15pm to come forward.
In particular, police want to speak to the driver and passengers of a dark-coloured vehicle travelling towards Malton just ahead of the collision.
