Fatal Cardiac Arrest After Street Fight

Police rushed to the scene at 12.40am on Friday 22 December after reports that a man in his 40s suffered a cardiac arrest at the corner of Oxford Street and Bernard Street in Fareham. Officers discovered the victim had been involved in an altercation shortly before collapsing.

Despite frantic efforts by paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two Men Arrested Over Murder

As the investigation unfolds, detectives have arrested two men from Totton, aged 60 and 35, on suspicion of murder. Both suspects remain in police custody while inquiries continue.

Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV Footage

Officers have released CCTV images of two men believed to be at the scene, urging anyone who recognises them to come forward. Detectives are also searching for the driver of a grey or silver Nissan Juke seen driving down Bernard Street around the time of the incident. They could hold vital information.
