Man Targets Woman at Tesco ATM in Park Farm

On Tuesday, August 9, 2022, a woman in her 60s fell victim to a sneaky scam at the Tesco cash machine in Park Farm. Between noon and 12:30pm, a man approached her, claiming the ATM wasn’t working properly. He told her to press certain buttons to fix the problem – but it was a trick.

Card Stolen, Cash Withdrawn Elsewhere

After the encounter, the woman soon realised her card had been stolen. Fraudsters had already started making withdrawals from another cash machine in a completely different town.
