£10,000 Reward Offered in Hunt for Julia James’ Killer
Independent charity Crimestoppers has launched a major appeal for information in the chilling murder of Police Community Support Officer Julia James. They’re offering a hefty £10,000 reward for any anonymous tip that leads to a conviction.
Julia Found Dead Near Home While Walking Dog
Julia James, 53, was found just before 4pm on Tuesday 27 April 2021, near Akholt Wood on Aylesham Road, Snowdown — close to her home. She was walking her dog when she was attacked, police confirmed. At the time, Julia was off duty and not in uniform.
Forensic teams have tested her dog for any DNA evidence that could crack the case wide open.
Crimestoppers Urges Locals to Speak Up, Anonymity Guaranteed
“Julia’s life has mercilessly been taken away. If you know who was involved, please remember our charity’s unique service guaranteeing your anonymity is here for you,” said Mick Duthie, Director of Operations at Crimestoppers.
Crimestoppers has been taking anonymous crime reports since the late 1980s, handling over a thousand calls and online tips every day. They urge anyone with information to come forward — no matter how small the detail.
