Pensioner Pushed to Ground and Robbed in Broad Daylight in Southampton
Shocking Attack on 69-Year-Old
A 69-year-old man was viciously shoved to the floor while sitting on a bench in Grove Road, Southampton. The attack happened around 1.30pm on 18 May. The victim’s bank card, cash, and cigarettes were stolen during the ordeal.
Bank Card Used to Make Fraudulent Purchase
Criminals wasted no time. The stolen bank card was quickly used at the 1 store on Shirley Road.
Police Urge Public to Help Identify Suspects
Officers have released a CCTV image of two suspects they want to question in connection with the robbery. Despite the grainy quality, police believe someone will recognise them.
