A 70-year-old pensioner was left battered with a broken knee and fractured wrist after a hit-and-run in Petersfield. The electric bike rider was knocked down by a car that sped off without stopping.

The crash happened around 9pm on August 22 on College Road, close to the Good Intent pub. The victim was riding his e-bike when the collision occurred. The driver fled the scene, leaving the injured cyclist behind.
