Woman Bitten by Boxer on Ryde Beach – Police Hunt Witnesses

Police on the Isle of Wight are urgently seeking witnesses after a woman was attacked and bitten by a dog on Ryde Beach.

Attack Sparks Alarm on Appley Walk

The victim was out walking her Chihuahua near Appley Tower at around 3:30pm on Monday, April 1, when trouble struck. As she passed a dog resembling a Boxer, tethered to a pole, the dog lunged and bit her.

Police Launch Appeal for Information

Officers are urging anyone who saw the incident or has information to come forward. You can contact them anonymously at 0800 555 111.
