Woman Seriously Injured After Van Crashes on Radlett Pavement

A woman in her 40s suffered serious injuries when a white Ford Transit van veered off the road and struck her on the pavement in Radlett, Hertfordshire. The shocking incident happened at around 5:40pm on Saturday, 17 May, at the busy roundabout junction of Park Road and Watling Street.

The victim was rushed to hospital and is now in stable condition. Meanwhile, the van driver escaped unharmed and stayed at the scene.

Police Hunt for Dash Cam Footage and Witnesses

Sergeant Luke Morley from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit is leading the investigation. He has issued a public appeal for anyone who witnessed the crash or captured it on dash cam to come forward.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision and is yet to speak to police, to please get in contact,” Sgt Morley said.

“If you were driving in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please review your footage as you may have captured something which could help us with our investigation.”
